Raymond B. Hirsch, 67 of Clearfield, passed away on Oct. 22, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born on Sept. 14, 1943 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of Emil and Margaret (Welker) Hirsch.
Mr. Hirsch had been employed as a carpenter with Halstrom Construction.
He served with the United States Marines during the Vietnam Era.
Mr. Hirsch is survived by his wife of forty two years, Frances (Lanich) Hirsch, whom he married on December 28, 1967; two daughters: Tracey Carella and her husband Lorenzo of Grampian and Terry Hirsch-Maines and her husband James of Clearfield; two granddaughters: Jessica Wilson and Courtney Hirsch; two brothers: Emil Leroy Hirsch and his wife Betty of Abaline, TX and William Hirsch and his wife Phylis of Clearfield. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and a sister and a nephew.
At the request of Mr. Hirsch, there will be no public visitation or service.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
