Traffic Delays Possible on I-80 in Clearfield County

Bridgework at two locations will require lane restrictions

CLEARFIELD –Motorists will encounter lane restrictions and possible travel delays on I-80 next week in Clearfield County. The lane restrictions are necessary due to continuing bridgework on some bridges that span I-80. Drivers should be aware of lane restrictions and potential delays at the following locations:

• Mile-marker 102 westbound in Sandy Township. Right (travel) lane will be closed westbound only as bridge repair work continues on the Route 4015 (Sher de Lin Road) bridge that spans I-80.

• Mile-marker 135 eastbound and westbound in Cooper Township. Right (travel) lanes will be closed as bridge repair work continues on the Route 2035 (Maple Street) bridge that spans I-80.

All work is weather and schedule dependent. Repair work at these two bridge locations is expected to continue through November.

Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, use caution in construction zones, and always buckle up. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
