Police reported an incident of simple assault at approximately 10 p.m. Monday on Ridge Road in Fox Township, Elk County.
Two Kersey adults were arrested following a domestic dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. A 41-year-old Kersey woman has been charged with harassment for allegedly slapping a 46-year-old Kersey man.
In addition, the man has been charged in the incident for allegedly grabbing, shoving and choking the woman. He was arraigned and placed in the Elk County Jail in lieu of bail. His bail amount was not indicated in the police report.
