Darlene L. Russell, age 67, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died Oct. 17, 2010 at her residence.
Born on Feb. 9, 1943 in Butler, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Davis and Pauline (Cousins) Johnston.
On Sept. 17, 1977, she married Robin H. Russell. He survives.
She was the owner of Daisy Publishing and published “Focus” and “Update”, magazines on Treasure Lake living
She was a model for many local fashion shows, and was a volunteer for Church of our Savior in DuBois. She also volunteered for the American Cancer Society, the Girl Scouts, DuBois Regional Medical Center projects, and many other local organizations.
She was an avid doll & antique collector, and she enjoyed cooking and interior decorating.
She is survived by a sister (Roberta Johnson of Greenville, MI) and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held
