J. Marillyn Lester, 82, of Clearfield died on Saturday at the Somerset Hospital.
Born on Oct. 5, 1928 in Mount Jewett, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Helen (Carlson) Wolfe. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville.
She is survived by three children, Gay Cooper and her husband, Michael of Smethport; Jon Lester and his wife, Wanda of Salisbury; and Harold Lester and his wife, Carol of Export.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one sister, Lael Giles of Rockton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Richard Lester on Jan. 10, 1992 and whom she married Oct. 15, 1946 in Kane and one brother, Darl Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville with the Rev. Richard Steuernagle officiating.
A committal service and interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Kanesholm, with the Rev. Theodore Benson officiating.
Friends will be received from 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville.
