CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield fall baseball team split a twinbill with State College at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field Sunday, holding off the visitors 6-5 in the opener before being edged 3-1.
Drew Brown singled and doubled and Kyler Kephart singled twice in the victory.
Unbeaten Trevor Flanagan notched his fourth win, striking out seven.
Brown’s single and double were the only hits Clearfield had in the nightcap.
Clearfield will close the season Sunday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Mifflin County.
