Wasco C. “Chuck” Bungo, 93, of Warren, OH and formerly of Janesville, PA passed away Oct. 5, 2010 at the Windsor House, Champion, OH.
He was born on Sept. 1, 1917 in Janesville, a son of the late Stephen and Nancy (Katlavich) Bungo.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during W.W.II.
Chuck worked as an inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
He was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Warren, OH. He was a member of the Stephen Kandrach VFW Post 6321, Janesville and a past member of the Croatian Club of Smokerun.

On May 25, 1946 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey he married Mary A. Strutzel Bungo who survives in Warren.
Chuck is survived by his twin sons, Stephen C. Bungo and his wife Karen of Warren, OH; Edward M. Bungo and his wife Kathy of DuBois, PA; and his son, Kenneth Bungo of Austintown, OH.
He is also survived by three grandchildren; Marilyn Mills and her husband Andy; Patrick Bungo and his wife Kara; and Greg Bungo and his wife Stephanie.

Three brothers and a sister survive; Mike Bungo and his wife Leona of Tucson, AZ; Metro Bungo and his wife Chris of Harrisburg; Frank Bungo and his wife Alice of Mentor, OH; and Dorothy Kropinsky and her husband Steve of Smithmill.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters; Kay Fensore, Helen Brennan, Mary Rogers and Anne Kushner.
Friends will be received on Oct. 11 from 6-8 p.m. and on Oct. 12 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Oct. 12 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, with Fr. Zab Amar as celebrant.
