CLEARFIELD – An elderly man accused of open lewdness waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
Merrel W. Lumadue Jr., 77 of Clearfield, faces charges of open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Aug. 15 Lumadue was allegedly fondling himself in the view of others. When confronted, he reportedly pulled his hand out of his pants.
