James Aaron Morris 64 of Clearfield, passed away on Oct. 5, 2010 at his residence.
Born on April 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Ward Orvis & Anna Elizabeth (Hubler) Morris.
On Dec. 7, 1974 at the Goshen United Methodist Church, he married Elma Mae (Hugar) Zeigler Morris, who survives at home.
He is survived by his wife; daughter Lori Dawn Johnson and her husband Brian of Dubois; step-children Jamie Zeigler and his wife Cheryl of Olean, NY, Robin Forrest and her husband Terry of Reynoldsville, Dennis Zeigler and his wife Renee of Curwensville, Judy Gardner of Falls Creek and Bradley Zeigler and his wife Christine of Clearfield; sisters Barbara Prieman and Bertha Smith and her husband Richard of Clearfield and 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-Son Andrew Lynd Zeigler, grandson, brother John Hubler and sister Mildred Mabie.
He was a 1965 graduate of Clearfield High School; he had worked in the Produce Department of the former Riverside Market and was self employed as a truck driver having worked for Waroquier Coal Company for 15 years; he was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
Funeral Services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Sallie Swenson and Rev. Rodger Gorton officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Joy Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Oct. 8 from 5-8 p.m. and on Oct. 9 from 10-11 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
