Vera M Lipnicky, age 91, formerly of Houtzdale and Osceola Mills passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 at the T.L.C. Manor in Brisbin.
Born July 2, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elda Kephart.
She was former owner and operator with her husband of the Lippy’s Restaurant in Corfu, NY.
She was of the United Methodist faith.
On May 14, 1945 she wed Thomas Lipnicky who preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by a son, Leslie J. Lipnicky and his wife Cherly of Basom, NY; a sister, Dora Marian of Houtzdale; two brothers, Roy Kephart and his wife Bernice and Rupert Kephart and his wife Rosemarie all of Niagara Falls, NY; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Leona Stone, Bernice Labont and Onida Shimmel and three brothers, Leslie, Theodore and Clarence Kephart.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills with the Rev. E. Joseph Rohrbacker officiating.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be held in the Umbria Cemetery.
