Thomas A. Gisewhite, 44, of Clearfield died on Friday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center- Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born on March 17, 1966 in Summerville, NJ, he was the son of Thomas L. and Vivian L. (Korotasz) Gisewhite. Mr. Gisewhite was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Sons of Italy in Clearfield. He was employed by E.M. Brown and previously at Clearfield Machine.
He is survived by his mother, who resides in Clearfield and his wife, Jennifer (Mease) Gisewhite, whom he married on Aug. 22, 2006 in Niagra Falls, NY; and three children, Tara A. Lansberry and her husband, Corry of Cleafield; Cory and Cody Wolfe of Kersey.
He is survived by one sister, Angel Luzier and her companion, Rick Calvello of Clearfield and one brother, Bryan Gisewhite and his wife, Missy of New Freedom. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, both his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mel and Carol Mease of Clearfield; and one brother-in-law, Jeff Mease of Clearfield.
Mr. Gisewhite is preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Nehemiah and Bell Maines; and paternal grandparents, Elias and Sophie Gisewhite.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. Kenneth Pry officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Monday at the funeral home.
