Leah Jean Billotte, 69 of Milton and formerly of Clearfield died Thursday at her home.

Born on Dec. 31, 1940 in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Delbert and Ester Lucile (Spotts) Ostrum. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield.

Mrs. Billotte was retired from the Clearfield Hospital after 25 years of service as a registered Nurse. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Nurses Association and the Clearfield Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Lynne Frierson and her husband, Reginald of Antioch, TN and Courtney Ann Godown and her husband, James of Milton; three stepsons, Ronald Eugene Billotte Jr. and his wife, Anita of Whitsett, NC; Mark Alan Billotte and his wife, Barbara of Cincinnati, OH; and Thomas Lee Billotte and his wife, Michele of Clearfield; and one stepdaughter, Marie Louise McGovern and her husband, Alan of LeContes Mills.

She is survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Also surviving is one brother,

Raymond Ostrum and his wife, Karen of Bradford; one sister, Robin Lucile Burns and her husband, Kevin of Saugerties, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Billotte was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald E. Billotte, whom she married on Dec. 10, 1966 and who died on Oct. 13, 2002; a stepson, Kyle Palmer; and one sister, Shirley Joann Ostrum.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, with the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Rupp officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.

Friends will be received from 7 – 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 121 South Second St., Clearfield, PA 16830; to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Ave., Third Floor, New York, NY 10017; or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
