Ica Mae Carlson, 78, of Curwensville, passed away Sept. 25, 2010 at Ridgeview Elder Care in Curwensville.
Born Feb. 5, 1932 in Falls Creek, she was the daughter of Ben and Grace (Delp) Tudor. Mrs. Carlson had worked at numerous restaurants as a waitress and cook and last worked for McDonalds of Clearfield. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Clearfield.
On April 11, 1953 she wed John E. Carlson who preceded her in death in 1962. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son; Lincoln Fleming; a daughter, Beverly Martin; two brothers, Junior Tudor and Franklin Tudor; and three sisters, Ellen Fistoe, Mary Jenkins, and Christine Wells. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are two children Helen Grace Snyder and her husband Ernest Sr. and Ben R. Carlson both of Curwensville. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carlson will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Sept. 29 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Lewis Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
