Crime Stoppers Seek Public’s Help in Burglary Case

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers is seeking information relating to a burglary in Coalport Borough.

Shaw stated that a private residence in Coalport Borough was broken into between July 3, 2010, and July 7, 2010. Personal property belonging to the victim was taken during the burglary.

While investigating the incident, the Pennsylvania State Police, Woodland Barracks, located a number of items that were stolen during the burglary in a wooded area off of Hegerty Road in Coalport. The stolen property recovered includes:

-Makita DPC7301 Concrete Saw

-Homelite Chainsaw

-North Star Air Compressor 130 PSI

-Road Shock Wrench

-Powermax XP400WGE Generator

-Cutting torches and gauges

-Craftsman ½” drill

-Craftsman screwdriver

Shaw stated that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the person or person responsible for the burglary.
