CLEARFIELD – Tyler Jacobson drove in Matt Kushner in the bottom of the ninth inning to cap Clearfield’s 7-6 comeback win over DuBois in fall baseball action at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field on Saturday.
Unbeaten Kurtis Krise won his third decision after relieving Trevor Flanagan, who pitched seven innings and held the visitors to one run after they jumped in front 4-0 in the second frame.
Jacobson doubled and singled while Drew Brown singled twice as Clearfield padded its record to 9-2.
Kushner, Levi Picard and Matt Josephson contributed two-baggers to the 10-hit attack.
Jon Georgino homered, Garret Peterson tripled and Garrett Miles singled twice for DuBois.
Clearfield’s twinbill with Moshannon Valley scheduled for Sunday was cancelled.
Coach Sid Lansberry’s team will be at home again Sunday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader against Mifflin County.
