William Lynne Smeal, 57, of Reynoldsville and formerly of New Millport, Curwensville and Olanta, died Thursday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 22, 1957 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late William and Eleanor (Stiver) Smeal. He was employed by Goodwill Industries as a truck driver and had served in the United States Army.
Mr. Smeal is survived by four daughters, Mahayla Hale of New York; Heather Derbeque and her husband, Justen of Olanta; April Smeal and her fiancée, Jerome McDay and Shannon Smeal and her husband, Michael Moraca, both of Johnstown.
He is survived by15 grandchildren; six siblings, Gladys Harris and her husband, Scott of Curwensville; Barbara Gearhart of Olanta; Gregory Smeal; Victor Evans and his fiancée, Lori Bernesky; and Jerry Evans and his wife, Vickie, all of Clearfield; and Wendy Smeal of Chesterfield. He is also survived by his stepmother Amelia Smeal of Coalport.
Mr. Smeal was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cindy S. Smeal.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, with the Rev. Rodger Gorton officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
