Police reported a felony warrant for the arrest of 37-year-old Butler area man. Michael James Hockenberger, 37, of the Butler area and formerly of Snyder Township, Jefferson County allegedly failed to comply with registration as a sexual offender. The accused who is a Megan’s Law offender previously resided at a Snyder Township residence until Aug. 20. However, he moved to the Butler area and didn’t verify his new Butler area residence within 48 hours to the state police.
