CLEARFIELD – With recent facade improvements taking place in Downtown Clearfield, Main Street Manager Kellie Truman commented on one turn-around.
“I was very impressed with how well St. Charles Café coordinated with our Design Committee volunteers,” said Truman. “This is what ‘Main Street’ is all about. Together, we made a great team and the proof is now a lasting impact in downtown Clearfield.
“This project outlines how effective revitalization can be when we all work together as a team. The CRC’s design committee constructed storefront guidelines for the Main Street District, and when business owners take initiative to comply by them, the outcome impacts the entire downtown as a whole. Our town’s value and image goes much further than individual storefronts, but more so as a district. Revitalization is a marathon, not a sprint. One project at a time, our downtown can be transformed if we continue to work together.”
