- Police received a report of a traffic complaint in Haney Development. An unknown motorist almost struck a person while they were standing at the bus stop.
- Police received a report of a bike foundo n Linwood Street. The bike was recovered and the owner can claim it by contacting police.
- Police received a report of a downed phone line on Legion Road. The wire was struck by a company working on the sewer project. Officers notified verizon, who sent a repair man.
- Police received a report of criminal mischief, loitering, prowling and scattering rubbish from a resident on Clarendon Avenue. Kids are reportedly loitering at the old Hyde Weslyan Church. Extra patrols will be provided to the area.
- Police received a report of assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief from a resident on Weaver Street.
- Police received a theft complaint that took place at the Days Inn. A $500 hand-held radio was given to an a gas company employee. That employee had since stopped working with the gas company but reportedly failed to turn in the radio. Officers called the former employee and learned that the radio had been turned in. This was verified with a supervisor.
- Officers are investigating an attempted arson in Hillsdale.
- Police cited a man for passing a school bus that had its warning lights flashing.
- Officers were called for a possible protection from abuse order violation. The matter was unfounded as there is no PFA in place.
- Officers recovered a bicycle on Linwood Street. The owner can claim it at the police station.
- Police handled and incident of harassment by communication. All parties involved were contacted and advised to have no further contact or charges would be filed.
