WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – The investigation continues into a single-vehicle accident Saturday night, which resulted in severe to moderate injuries for all three occupants. Two were airlifted from Firetower Road in Winslow Township, the DuBois State Police reported.

Police said that operator Joshua Reddinger, 26, of Punxsutawney and passenger Kyle Travis, 20, of Anita suffered “severe” injuries. They were flown to the Altoona Hospital and to the Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, respectively.

Police said that passenger, Codey Yenzi, 23, of Reynoldsville was transported by ambulance to the DuBois Regional Medical Center. His injury was listed as “moderate.”

Police indicated that all three occupants were not wearing their lap and shoulder belts at the time of the accident.

According to the accident report, the Reddinger vehicle was traveling west on Firetower Road at 6:35 p.m. Saturday. He lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a left curve due to excessive speed, police said.

Police said his vehicle spun sideways and overturned twice before coming to a rest against a large tree. While the vehicle was overturning, all three occupants were ejected from the same.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department, the Reynoldsville Ambulance, the DuBois Emergency Medical Services and Jewell Towing Service.
