DUBOIS – Drivers in the DuBois area should expect daytime traffic delays as a paving project will affect a portion of Brady Street Wednesday.
Due to changing roadway conditions, a planned paving project on Brady Street has been accelerated. Paving operations will take place Wednesday between the Brady Street bridge and Maple Avenue.
Traffic delays are likely while paving operations are active between the hours of 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Drivers could encounter stopped or slowed traffic through the work area, and motorists should be alert for roadway flaggers.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company is the contractor on this $6 million project, which covers numerous routes across Clearfield County. All work is weather dependent. PennDOT expects the work on this contract to be finished in October.
PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
