Joseph J. Dobo, 80 of Hawk Run, passed away on Sept. 8 at his residence.
Born on May 15, 1930, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Francisco) Dobo.
On May 5, 1962, he married the former Rose E. Shevlin in Morrisdale. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers James, Andrew, George, Michael, John, and infant brother Michael Dobo; and sister Ann Urick; He is survived by daughters Kathleen M. Gillespie and her husband Steven of Clearfield, Coleen Dobo of Bloomfield. CT and Connie Eskin of Mechanicsburg; sons Shawn J. Dobo of Osceola Mills, Kevin Dobo and his wife Krista of Niantic, CT and Joseph Dobo and his wife Jennifer of Jefferson Township; sisters Helen Trombly of Detroit, MI, Irene Fulks of Detroit, MI and Margaret Scondrat of Detroit, MI; brother Paul Dobo of Hawk Run; grandchildren John, Ethan & Rosemary Gillespie; Zachary & Aaron Eskin;and Paul Joseph, Sophi Patrick, Shawn, Caleigh & NoraDobo; and several nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hawk Run with the Rev. Robert J. Horgas as celebrant. Visitation for Mr. Dobo will be private.
