Police Report: Lawrence Township

–        Police received a report about an individual who was preventing traffic from entering the park from Mill Road. Officers advised that the individual suffered from a medical condition and was released to a relative.

–        Police received a report of a nuisance from a resident on Graham Street in Hyde. The resident could smell an obnoxious odor. At arrival, officers were able to detect a faint odor. However, they weren’t able to identify its source.

–        Police received a report of fraudulent activity that was related to a checking account of a Turnpike Avenue resident.

–        Police were called to the Clearfield Elementary School for a disorderly male juvenile who had reportedly physically assaulted staff members.

–        Police received a call for an incident of access device fraud. The incident is still under investigation at this time.

–        Police were called to an incident of criminal mischief for unknown persons who were throwing nails into a resident’s driveway.

–        Police responded to a request for information from a township resident. Officers provided the required information.

–        Police collected forensic evidence for a theft case, which involves multiple agencies from several jurisdictions.

–        Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run accident. A green Dodge pick-up truck reportedly side-swiped a black Ford pick-up truck. The latter truck sustained damage to a mirror and door. Officers are still attempting to locate the Dodge pick-up, as it didn’t stop at the scene of the accident.

–        Police took emergency custody of two juveniles and then turned them over to Children, Youth and Family Services.

–        Police responded to a report of a motorcycle being operated on Rails to Trails. Officers were unable to locate the motorcycle.

–        Police were on patrol, when they found a disabled vehicle on state Route 879. The operator had assistance on the way.

–        Police received a call about a driver who was run off the roadway on Coal Hill Road. The incident is under investigation.

–        Police received a call about terroristic threats. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

–        Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police Department with a report of a psychological emergency on East Pine Street.
