Drivers Can Expect Nightwork on Roads in DuBois Area

DUBOIS – DuBois area drivers should expect nighttime delays this week as work continues on a countywide roadway project. No work will occur on Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Work will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Work next week includes:

Traffic delays are likely. Drivers could encounter stopped or slowed traffic through the work areas, and motorists should be alert for roadway flaggers. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. 

The week of Sept. 13, drivers can expect daytime work for traffic signal loop installation. The week of Sept. 20, drivers can expect nighttime work for final paving. PennDOT will issue travel alert reminders as work progresses.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company is the contractor on this $6 million project, which covers numerous routes across Clearfield County. All work is weather dependent. PennDOT expects the work on this contract to be finished in October.
