Eric J. Erickson, 56, of Brockway died Tuesday at his residence.
Born on Jan. 30, 1954, in Wellsboro, he was the son of Keith E. and Donna M. (Short) Erickson. His parents survive him and currently reside in DuBois.
He was a 1972 graduate of the DuBois Area High School and was a 1976 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, his fox hounds, reading and his family.
He is survived by his son, Peter Erickson and his wife, Dawn of DuBois and two grandchildren, Abby and Ryan Erickson, also of DuBois.
He’s survived by a brother, Brian Erickson and his wife, Shelly of Sabula; a sister, Karen Spicher and her husband, Rick of Sabula; his fiancé, Carol Wingard of Brockway and her children, Nichole, Kerri, Ronnie and Emily Wingard.
In addition, he’s survived by eight nieces and nephews, Brian Erickson and his wife, Sarah of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Craig (Amie) Burke of Pittsburgh; Sean Hoyt of Clearfield; Deryk Spicher and his wife, Crystal of Sabula; Kristy Spicher; Ian Erickson; Bethany Erickson; and Jennie Erickson, all of Sabula.
There will be no pubic visitation. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Brunner officiating. Burial will follow in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
