- Police responded to the site of some illegal dumping. A local contractor inadvertently placed demolition material as fill in a drainage ditch. The items will be removed and disposed of properly.

- Police responded to a burglary which took place at a residence along East 20th Street. Police report that an unknown person removed an air conditioner unit from a window and attempted to gain entry into the residence. Police advise that the suspect had cut either his arm or hand and had left behind a large amount of blood on the air conditoner unit. Police collected the blood samples and they will be submitted to the state police lab for analysis and DNA identification. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police. The investigation continues.
