MARIENVILLE – The state police are investigating a fire that occurred Sunday in Marienville.
A fire marshal from the Ridgway Station investigated the cause and origin of the fire that occurred at 192 S. Forest St. The two-story residential structure was a total loss, estimated at $200,000.
Four people were left homeless as a result of the fire. Police reported that there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the state police in Tionesta at 814-755-3565.
