Goldie G. (Knepp) Shawver, 68 of Houtzdale, passed away at 3:47 a.m., Aug. 18, 2010 at her residence.
Born on Jan. 29, 1942 in McClure, PA she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Gladys (Weader) Knepp. On Sept. 30, 1958 in Lewistown, PA she wed Gary Shawver, who survives. She was a Homemaker and attended New Hope Christian Fellowship, Houtzdale where she was pianist and past head of the New Hope Youth Group.
Mrs. Shawver is survived by six children, Gary Wayne Shawver, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, of New York, NY, Gregory Shawver and his wife Donna, of Houtzdale; Timothy Shawver and his fiancée, Becky Johnson of Huntingdon, PA; Cindy Green and her husband David of Dutchtown; Corey Shawver, also of Dutchtown and Lorie Thomas and her husband Brian of Easton, PA.
She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Lindsay, Shayn, Nickolas, Brieanna, Mikayla, James and Dustin Shawver; Roy McGarvey III and Christopher McGarvey, Jacob Green, Nicole Susko, Corey Shawver, Jr. and Alexa Shawver, Trevor, Tanner and Helena Thomas and two great-grandchildren; also a sister, Crystal Snook and her husband Nelson of Beaver Springs, PA; and two brothers, Larry Knepp and his wife Connie of Houtzdale, Eugene Knepp and his wife Ellen of McClure, PA.
Friends will be received at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Madera on Aug. 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Aug. 21 from 10-11 a.m. at New Hope Christian Fellowship, Houtzdale.

Funeral services will be held on Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Christian Fellowship Houtzdale, with Pastor Dennis L. Frantz officiating. Graveside Services will follow at the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey PA.
