CLEARFIELD – CNB Bank would like to remind all the registered participants of the CNB Bank Community Scavenger Hunt to turn in their completed forms.
On Aug. 30 the winner of the summer-long event will be awarded a $1,000 Series EE savings bond. The winner’s name will be drawn from all correctly completed entry forms turned in to CNB Bank no later than 12:00 noon Friday, Aug. 27.
CNB initiated this project last year with its first annual community scavenger hunt to bring together the school, local businesses and the community. This year, wooden canvases were designed and painted with a Pennsylvania theme by Clearfield Area High School students in Leann Schaeffer’s art class. The canvases feature everything from outdoor recreation and seasonal themes to Pennsylvania tourism. The stools continue to be on display at participating businesses.
Since June 21, Scavenger Hunt participants have been identifying these participating businesses based on clues provided to them upon registration. Those who find and identify all twenty-four stools are to bring their completed form to one of the four CNB offices located in Clearfield to be included in a drawing at the end of the event. As the end of the summer draws near, so does the summer-long Scavenger Hunt. Registration for the event began on Saturday, June 10 and will end Aug. 27.
CNB would like to thank everyone involved and wish all participants good luck!
