- Police responded to a dog at large call. The dog was apprehended and returned home.
- Police received a report of a truck that lost part of a load of gravel on South Second Street. PennDOT responded to deal with the spill. The investigation into who lost the load continues.
- Police are investigating two incidents of theft on Boyce Street. In one instance items were removed from a storage shed. In the other incident items were taken from a pickup truck. The investigation continues and police are looking for three individuals that were observed loitering and prowling in the area on Thursday night.
- Police assisted a stranded motorist.
- Police are investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred at Lawrence Park Village. Sometime over Thursday night a woman had her car tire slashed. Police have a person of interest and the investigation continues.
- Police handled an incident involving unattended juveniles shooting pellet guns in their neighborhood. Police spoke with the boys and their mother. The situation was handled at the scene.
- Police responded to a second dog at large call.
- Police responded to a two vehicle accident at the Co-Go’s parking lot. No injuries were reported.
- Police received two complaints of two different erratic drivers. One on state Route 879 coming from Curwensville and the other on state Route 322.
- Police received a complaint of harassment from a Hyde resident.
- Police responded to the check welfare on Pifer Road.
- Police received a report of a retail theft at Wal-Mart Supercenter. A female was arrested.
- Police received a report of a theft of a bike. A male was arrested.
- Police assisted a female who was stranded on the Clearfield Glen Richey Highway.
- Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on state Route 879. Responding officers learned that the vehicle belonged to the cleaning personnel.
- Police received a report of an attempted theft of a bicycle in Edgewood. The suspect was seen with the bicycle and was confronted by the owner. The owner was then assaulted by the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police were called to do a public service and speak with two young females in reference to them making threats.
- Police were called to Wal-Mart Supercenter for an animal call involving a dog in a vehicle.
- Police report an incident of damage to unattended property. The incident is currently under investigation.
- Police were called to Dorey Street Extension for a large disturbance and possible kidnapping in progress. As a result one male was arrested, two individuals were checked at the hospital, and one was committed to a medical facility for evaluation. There was also a motor vehicle recovered that was involved in a prior theft. Police were assisted by Clearfield Borough Police.
- Police responded to a report of a domestic on Libby Lane. Responding officers learned that there was an argument between a male and female at which time the male left the residence. The incident was handled at the scene.
- Police responded to a psychological emergency on Washington Avenue. A Curwensville man was transported to the Clearfield Hospital by ambulance for an evaluation.
- Police assisted Clearfield Borough Police with suspicious activity on West First Avenue.
- Police responded to a burglar alarm at Ollies Bargain Outlet in the Clearfield Mall. Upon arrival police found the building secure.
- Police responded to Lawrence Park Village for a report of a male with a sword who had threatened another male and sliced his own finger. Upon police arrival they located the male suspect and took him into custody. Police report that the victim in the case stated that he was sleeping when he found the suspect standing over top of him with the sword. After an altercation in which the suspect attempted to strike the victim with the sword, he struck the door which caused the sword to go through the door. Police spoke with the victim and the tenant, who refused to cooperate with police and refused to press charges.
- Police responded to the Sapp Brothers Truck Stop for a report of a fugitive from justice at the Sapp Brothers Truck Stop. Police identified the person and determined that it was mistaken identity. Police were assisted by the Clearfield Borough Police Department, PA State Police of Woodland, and the Clearfield Sheriff’s Office, and the Emergency Response Team.
- Police responded to an alarm at a local business. Officers secured the building, and determined there was no foul play.
- Police were called for a motorist assist at Burger King. Officers were assisted by Clearfield Borough Police in unlocking a vehicle.
- Police received a call for a drive off at Sapp Brothers Truck Stop.
- Police were called for a traffic violation on South Second Street.
- Police responded to Edgewood apartments for a verbal fight. Police dispersed the individuals.
- Police received a report of a disabled vehicle on state Route 322 in the area of Woodland Road. Police responded and found that the driver was off the roadway and had assistance on its way.
- Police received a report of a lost wallet somewhere in the Clearfield Area.
- Police responded to an alarm at the PA Lottery Office. Upon arrival police found the building to be secure.
