Shaw Public Library to Hold ‘CSI: Clearfield’ for Young Adults

CLEARFIELD – Calling all crime solvers!  The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library is hosting CSI: Clearfield for all young adults of the community on Aug. 22 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.  Anyone age 12 to 18 years old is invited to participate in this event.

CSI: Clearfield is an interactive mystery that provides clues to help participants solve the crime.  Crime solvers will learn about the crime, victims, and suspects while searching for answers in various tasks.  The first individual to solve the mystery with all correct information will win the grand prize of an iPod.  Food and refreshments will be provided at the event.

All those interested in participating must register at the library prior to the event.  Registration is now open and will remain open until Thursday, August 19th at 9:00 p.m.  Participants are asked to pick up their ticket and sign the participation form by August 21st at 5:00 p.m.  In order for CSI: Clearfield to take place, there must be a minimum of 15 participants registered by the close of business on Aug. 19.  In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, all registrants will be notified by phone.
