- Police report a fire marshal investigation that took place on Aug. 9 at 3:55 p.m. at the Summit Motel on Boot Jack Road in Ridgway Township. The PA State Police Fire Marshal and the Ridgway Fire Department conducted an investigation into the origin and cause of a fire that damaged the wood frame, single story motel. The fire originated in an unoccupied room and was quickly discovered by occupants of the building. The fire caused approximately $20,000 in damage. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. There were no injuries and the motel remained open for business.
- Police report an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred on Aug. 7 at 11:55 p.m. on Bingham Road in Ridgway Township. The incident occurred as Ryan Fenton, Micheal Roseto, and Barry Wilson created a hazardous/physically offensive condition. Non traffic citations were filed on all three individuals for disorderly conduct.
- Police responded to an incident of criminal mischief that occurred between 5:00 p.m. on August 6 and 8:00 a.m. on August 9 at the Keystone Medical Association on state Route 255. Unknown suspect(s) arrived at the above location between the above dates and times and caused minor damage to a post. Suspect(s) fled the scene in an unknown manner and direction.
- Police report an incident of control of alarm devices and automatic dialing that occurred on Aug. 9 at 8:45 a.m. at Rolfe Sportsman’s Club on Silver Creek Road in Ridgway Township. The Sportsman’s club was charged with control of alarm devices and automatic dialing devices for having more than 3 at fault alarms within a twelve month period. A charge of harassment is being filed with District Court 59-3-02.
