- Police report a crash occurring on Monday at 11:10 on state Route 3005 in Ferguson Township. The crash occurred when a Jeep Cherokee was traveling south on SR 3005. The Jeep exited the right of the roadway, striking an embankment and overturned. The driver and a passenger were not injured and restraint systems were in use. The vehicle received major damage and the operator was cited for failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
- Police report an incident of theft that occurred on Tuesday between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. at an apartment in the Curwensville Commons. Suspect(s) removed $332.00 in cash from the victim’s purse when she fell asleep in a chair.
- Police report a single vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. along St. Lawrence Road in Coalport. The crash occurred as the driver of a Chrysler Sebring-4D was traveling north on state Route 3005 and St. Lawrence Road. The vehicle was negotiating a right curve in the roadway when the operator lost conrtol of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the west shoulder and struck a road sign, mailbox, and dirt embankment. After impact the vehicle overturned and traveled approximately 75 feet coming to rest in a private driveway off state Route 3005, on its roof facing in an east direction. The operator is to be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic through District Court 46-3-04 in Houtzdale.
