CLEARFIELD – On Wednesday night Clearfield County Fair goers got a taste of blues and rock from rock legends ZZ Top.
The trio of Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and Dusty Hill played songs from across their 40 year discography, “La Grange”, “Cheap Sunglasses”, “Legs”, “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Brown Sugar”, to name a few. They even covered another rock legend, Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Joe.”
“There’s only two rules tonight,” said Gibbons. “No drinking during the gospel songs….and no gospel songs.”
