Mrs. Doris E. Ballosh, 82, of Osceola Mills died Tuesday at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born Aug. 5, 1927 in Tyrone, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mae (Miller) Keith. She was a member of the South Philipsburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.
Mrs. Ballosh was retired from the Charles Navasky Co., Chester Hill.
On Aug. 17, 1947, she married Frederick J. Ballosh in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1990.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Joseph and Harold Wayne Keith.
Mrs. Ballosh is survived by three brothers, Edmund Keith and his wife, Rita of Danville; Glenn Keith and his wife, Bernie of Warren; and Lon Keith and his wife, Dorothy of Osceola Mills.
She is survived by a sister, Cleo Welton of Osceola Mills; a daughter, Judy Surkovic and her husband, Sam of Osceola Mills; and a son, Frederick W. “Butch” Ballosh and his wife, Linda of Osceola Mills.
Mrs. Ballosh is also survived by two grandchildren, John Joseph and Vincent Edward Surkovic and two great-granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, with the Pastor Scott Hartsock and Pastor Douglas Molin officiating. Interment will be at the Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
