CLEARFIELD – Drivers on three routes in Clearfield County could see delays next week as part of a roadway-resurfacing project. Work includes:
- Patching, milling and paving on US Route 219 between the villages of Curry Run and McGees Mills. Traffic delays are likely.
- Patching on US Routes 219/322 from Luthersburg to the Jefferson County line. Traffic delays are likely.
- Paving on state Route 53 from the village of Kylertown to the Centre County line. Traffic delays are likely.
Stopped or slowed traffic is possible in these work areas, and motorists should be alert for roadway flaggers. PennDOT will issue work updates as necessary.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company is the contractor on this $6 million project. All work is weather dependent. PennDOT expects the work on this contract to be finished in October.
PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
