- Police are investigating a theft that took place on Lance Drive in the village of Lake City. KayAnn Smith, 59, told police that someone took a piece of jewelry from her house sometime between July 11 and July 25.
- Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a camp along Squab Hollow Road in Horton Township sometime between July 23 and July 25. Ernest J. Borgehetti, 69 of Hubbard, Ohio, told police that someone forcibly entered his camp by damaging a window. A green motorcycle and a yellow ATV were seen at the camp on Saturday July 24 at 2:30 p.m. The damage is estimated at $100. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 776-6136.
- Police are investigating an incident of theft by bad checks at Rick’s Used Auto Parts in Kersey. A Wexford man wrote a check to the auto part store in the amount of $550 on an account that was closed.
- A report of theft by deception is being investigated by police. MJ’s Mini Mart in Kersey said a known man wrote a check to their store for $20.91 on a closed account.
- Police are investigating another theft by deception at MJ’s Mini Mart in Kersey. A man wrote a check for $26.91 on a closed account.
- Police are investigating a theft by deception at MJ’s Mini Mart in Kersey where a check for $16.58 was returned on a closed account.
- A Kersey man was charged with Disorderly Conduct after he stopped his vehicle on state Route 255, put it in reverse, and accelerated causing the tires to squeal. He then exited his vehicle and yelled obscenities to another person.
