CLEARFIELD – The traffic light on Bridge Street remains broken but will be fixed as soon as possible.
According to the Clearfield Borough Administration Office, the borough is still waiting for the arrival of parts needed to fix the light. They are hoping to receive the parts by the weekend so that the process of fixing the control panel box and the light can begin. They will start the work the day after the parts arrive.
According to a prior Gant report, a storm that came through the area earlier this month took out the light. Clearfield Borough Operations Manager Leslie Stott said at a July 15 meeting that the cost to repair the light could range from $8,000 to $18,000.
