- Police report an incident of burglary and theft that occurred between 11:30 p.m. on July 15 and 5:30 a.m. on July 16 at the VFW building at the Front Street and Spruce Street intersection in the Philipsburg Borough. It was reported to police that unknown suspect(s) forced open a side door to the VFW building. Once inside, suspect(s) stole a small amount of alcohol and a small sum of money. The suspect(s) then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police responded to an incident of retail theft that occurred on July 17 at 10:58 at the Minit Mart located on Front Street. Police were called to the scene of a gas drive-off where an unknkown male driving a dark blue or black sports car, possibly a Tiburon, pumped $10 worth of gas and drove off south on Front Street. The vehicle is said to have a white “tribal” decal across the top of the windshield.
