– Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. July 14 and 7 a.m. July 15 in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A person(s) arrived at Lumadue Excavating LLC and allegedly stole numerous water pipe fittings from the scene. The person(s) then fled the scene.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. July 15, the stolen items were taken by three individuals – two females and a male – in a pick-up truck to Novey’s Recycling in Clearfield for money. – Police reported an incident of harassment at approximately 2 p.m. July 14 in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A 22-year-old Philipsburg male was cited for harassment after he allegedly entered a 19-year-old Munson female’s vehicle un-invited.
He then allegedly grabbed the woman’s cell phone and would not return it to her. He allegedly refused to exit the vehicle after numerous requests by the woman to do so. Charges were filed through the district court.
Police reported a hit and run accident at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the concession stand parking area at the Black Moshannon Park in Rush Township, Centre County. A Philipsburg male reported that a vehicle backed into his parked Chrysler PT Cruiser. He reported it caused moderate damage to his vehicle.
After backing into the alleged victim’s vehicle, police said the suspect left the scene and traveled west on state Route 504. They said the suspect vehicle was described as silver and reportedly resembled an Escalade. They said they believed it was operated by an elderly, white male.
