DUBOIS – Watershed representative Sam Miles praised Steve Swope of the city’s public works department after their response to the water main break in Falls Creek.
The water line broke last Thursday night and after people of Falls Creeks called DuBois for help Swope and his crew worked through the night to fix the problem. They were able to isolate the problem and fill the tank back up. Swope said the only real problem they incurred was a glitch in the computer for gas that took two and a half hours to fix.
“My hats off to the public works superintendent who went down there and took charge,” said City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio.
Falls Creek lost their entire holding tank of water, which Swope said was about million gallons of water.
