RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP – A single vehicle accident claimed the life of a 50-year-old Johnsonburg man during the early Sunday morning hours along Oknefski Road in Ridgway Township, Elk County.
Paul S. Wiles, 50, of Johnsonburg died from injuries after he was thrown from his 2008 Suzuki Boulevard Trike, the Ridgway-based State Police reported.
According to the accident report, the Wiles vehicle was traveling east on Oknefski Road. Police said he was unable to negotiate a left-hand turn in the roadway.
He subsequently traveled off the roadway where his motorcycle rolled over, police said. They said it came to a rest on its wheels. He was thrown from the motorcycle.
