Curwensville Man Suffers Head Trauma During Weekend Accident, Arrested for DUI

PIKE TOWNSHIP – A Curwensville man was arrested following an accident on Saturday. The 31-year-old Curwensville man was traveling west on Nicholson Road when the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria he was driving went off the south side of the road and down an embankment.

He left the scene of the accident on foot before police arrived.  He was later found at the Clearfield Hospital.  He was not wearing a seat belt during the accident and suffered severe head trauma as a result.  Police placed him under arrest for driving under the influence and several other traffic offenses. 

The vehicle was towed by Simbeck Auto.
