Krista Joyanne Kennedy, 28 of Philipsburg, passed away in Chester Hill on June 27, 2010.
Born on Nov. 17, 1981, she is the daughter of Anna M. (Carson) Kennedy and her father and step-mother, John D. and Susan D. Kennedy, all of whom survive her and all of Philipsburg.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Philipsburg and a member of the BPO Elks #1173, Philipsburg. She was a 2000 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School and had attended Penn State.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Elizabeth (Black) Carson; and her paternal grandparents, William and Anna (Kasper) Kennedy.
She is survived by her mother, father and step-mother; sister Jennifer Ann Kennedy and her companion Joseph Maska of Downingtown and her aunt, Joy Kennedy of Philipsburg, with whom she resided.
Services will be held on July 2 at 11 a.m. at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg with the Rev. Gerald Krum officiating. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on July 1 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
