- Police reported an incident of theft by deception at 9:23 a.m. Saturday in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A known male took scrap metal to G&C Scrap in Osceola Mills. After receiving the weight slip, he reportedly altered it in order to receive more money.
- Police investigated a death that occurred between June 26 and June 27 in Decatur Township. The victim was found to have apparently passed away as result of a drug overdose. The investigation revealed that the victim allegedly had taken an excessive amount of Oxycotin tablets that were not prescribed to her prior to her death. The victim was pronounced dead by Clearfield County Coroner Joel Heath at the scene.
- Police report a DUI that occurred at 6:40 on the evening of June 25 on state Highway 2030 north of Bigler. A Chevrolet was traveling South on state Route 2030 near Bigler, when the operator lost contol of the vehicle and crossed the center lines, striking the rear of a Ford F150 that was heading North on state Route 2030. After impact, the Chevrolet left the roadway and overturned , coming to rest on its wheels. Both drivers were transported by Emergency Medical services to Altoona for moderate injuries and a passenger in the Ford received minor injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
- Police responed to another crash that occurred on June 27 at 9:50 a.m on state Route 80. A Ford Explorer was traveling east on state Route 80 in the right lane. The operator fell asleep and the vehicle traveled onto the south berm of state Rotue 80 and struck the guide rails with its right front fender. The vehicle then traveled back across both lanes of state Rotue 80 and traveled onto the north berm, overturning twice. The vehicle came to rest in the median facing west. The operator was cited for careless driving.
