Percy E. Bogle, Age 92, of Turnpike Ave., Clearfield, PA died on June 20, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born on Aug. 23, 1917 in Salem, PA, he was the son of the late William and Iva (Shaffer) Bogle.
On April 19, 1941 at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, PA, he married Catherine (Green) Bogle. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2000.
He was the owner/operator of several local area hotels including the Dimeling Hotel in Clearfield and the Hotel Logan in DuBois. Previous to that, he had worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penn State Nittiany Lions
He was Catholic by faith and was a licensed real estate agent for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Yamrick of Sykesville, PA, and a brother, Robert Bogle of Pine Valley, NY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 5 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.
Private funeral services were held on June 22. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
