CLEARFIELD – PennDOT is requesting that trucks and tractor-trailers use alternate routes through Friday, June 18, as crews work to resurface State Route 445 in Centre County between Route 192 and Route 664. This section of Route 445 is in Miles and Walker Townships in Centre County. The road is narrow and larger vehicles will have a difficult time maneuvering around the work crew and set-up.
All work is weather dependent.
PennDOT advises drivers to obey posted speed limits and remain alert, patient and cautious through work zones. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s Web site.
PennDOT also reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
