Lewis Earl “Lew” Kennedy, 79 of Brisbin and formerly of Sandy Ridge, passed away on June 14, 2010 at the TLC Manner in Brisbin.
He was the son of the late Earl and Anna (Marcella) Kennedy.
He was of Christian Faith and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a mechanic from Dix Motors of State College andwas a 1949 graduate of the former Philipsburg High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews; sister Dorothy Smith of Sandy Ridge and brothers Richard Kennedy of Berryville, TX and Donald Kennedy of Sandy Ridge.
Services will be held on June 17 at 11 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Mark Thumma officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
