DUBOIS – City council awarded the bid for the Washington and Weber Avenue bridge replacement project to Palo Construction of Clarion at Monday nights meeting. Palo sent in a bid of $298,188. Dave Roman Excavating, from Reynoldsville, came in with the second lowest bid of $301,122.
Council received the bids for the chemicals for the water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, and the swimming pool. The bids will be turned over to the engineering department for their recommendation before council takes any further action.
