DUBOIS – Jeff Baronick came to the DuBois City Council meeting on Monday to express his gratitude to the many people who were involved in making this year’s Community Days a success.

Baronick thanked Mayor Gary Gilbert and City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio for all their support.

“If it wasn’t for your blessing for the use of some of the city services it would never go off.”

Baronick also thanked the police chief by saying, “I’d really like to thank Mike DiLulu and his police department.  They stepped up big time and everything went magnificently well.”

Among the many thanks were the businesses and organizations who donated money and set up booths at the event.  Baronick thanked the Boy Scouts for their effort in cleaning up the park after the event.

“It was a really good weekend to live in DuBois,” said Baronick.

Suplizio also expressed his gratitude for the effort put forth by Baronick.

“He does need to be commended.  He takes the bull by the horns and really does it all.”

Members of council, as well as the solicitor and mayor, also thanked Baronick for his efforts.
